Choose by energy and output

For the same load and efficiency, more watt-hours usually means longer runtime. More output watts means a higher possible simultaneous load, not necessarily a longer runtime.

A 2,048Wh battery may meet a small overnight budget, while a higher-output model can still run out quickly on electric heat. Calculate your own load plan before treating any model as the right size.

Expansion is model-specific

The HomePower 2000 Plus v2 and the earlier Explorer 2000 Plus do not share every accessory. Jackery explicitly identifies the v2 battery pack as the compatible option for HomePower 2000 Plus v2.

The HomePower 3000 uses a fixed-capacity approach. The HomePower 3600 Plus and Explorer 5000 Plus have supported expansion paths, but you should confirm the exact packs and total configuration on the current product page.

Voltage and installation

The US Explorer 5000 Plus provides a 120V/240V option in one unit. HomePower 3600 Plus standalone use is different from an approved paired configuration. Do not assume an extra battery adds another voltage.

Home circuits require compatible transfer equipment and professional planning. A product named for home backup is not an instruction to connect it directly to a panel.

Battery or solar generator?

In Jackery’s naming, a solar-generator listing generally adds solar panels to a power-station platform. Compare the underlying battery specifications and the exact panel variant separately.
